Privacy Policy

Durub Alttalab (دروب الطلاب) provides a school transport marketplace and trip-management service for parents, transport providers, and drivers. This policy explains how the app collects, uses, shares, and protects personal and device data.

Information we collect

• Account data, including name, Saudi mobile number, optional email address, role, city, and authentication records.
• Student and booking data, including student details, school, pickup and drop-off locations, schedules, requests, quotations, and booking history.
• Provider, driver, vehicle, licence, verification, and compliance documents.
• Precise or approximate location data used for route planning, active-trip tracking, safety, and arrival updates. Background location may be used during an active trip when enabled.
• Messages, support requests, notifications, device identifiers, push-notification tokens, and technical diagnostic information.
• Manual cash-payment records, including the parent's handover report, provider confirmation, status, commission, refund, and settlement records. The app does not currently collect or store payment-card details.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify users and providers, match families with transport providers, manage bookings and trips, display live trip progress, send OTP and service notifications, support users, maintain payment records, investigate safety issues and disputes, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable requirements.

Sharing and access

Information is shared only as needed to provide the service. Parents see information related to their own bookings and trips. Assigned providers and drivers receive the booking, student, route, and contact information needed to perform the transport service. Authorized administrators may access records for verification, safety, support, payments, and compliance. We may use service providers for cloud hosting, authentication, OTP delivery, maps, location, notifications, storage, and diagnostics. We do not sell personal data.

Data security and retention

We use role-based access, authentication, encrypted network connections, and operational controls intended to protect data. Records are retained only as long as needed for service delivery, safety, dispute handling, financial records, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Some records may be retained or anonymized where deletion is not legally or operationally possible.

Your choices and account deletion

You can review or update available account information in the app, manage device permissions through Android settings, and submit an account-deletion request from the app's account settings. You may also contact the team through in-app Support for privacy questions, access requests, corrections, or deletion assistance.

Children's data

Student information is provided and managed by a parent or authorized guardian for arranging school transport. The app is not intended for children to create independent accounts. We use student information only for transport operations, safety, support, and related legal obligations.

We may update this policy when the service, legal requirements, or data practices change. The current effective date will be displayed on this page.
